At 1:32 AM on Wednesday April 4, 2012, firefighters from the Newtown Fire Association, Northampton Volunteer Fire Company and Upper Makefield Fire Company were dispatched to a reported fire at Sarcones Deli at the Newtown Villages Shopping Center on South Eagle Road. Newtown Township Police and Newtown Fire Association Chief Andy Errico arrived on scene and reported heavy fire showing through the roof of a large strip mall. Chief Errico quickly requested an additional ladder, and a Rapid Intervention Team. Crews working on the ground and roof went in service with numerous hose lines to prevent the fire from extending further, and were able to bring the blaze under control in just under an hour. Apparatus on scene were Rescue 45, Ladder 45, Utility 45, Engine 55 (Newtown), Engine 3, Quint 73, Rescue 3 (Northampton), Tower 80 (Yardley-Makefield), and Engine 81 (Upper-Makefield). Newtown Township Fire Marshal Don Harris is investigating the fire, along with the Newtown Township Police Department.

Saturday Jan. 28 Churchville Road

Bat. 73 arrived on scene with fire in the rear of the home with extention to the attic. Crews worked for about 20 minutes to contain the fire.

Monday Jan. 23 -Villa Joesph Marie School Fire

D/C-3 arrived on scene with heavy smoke showing from a vacant three story stone building, 75x75. Command reported fire in the basement and first floor. Placed 2-1/2" line in service. Fire extended to the second and third floors. Numerous additional engines and ladders were requested to the scene. All companies were requested to evacuate the building. All companies in service exterior ops.

Friday Jan. 20 Holland Road / Hope Road

Northampton Fire Departments responds to an auto accident with 4 heavily entrapped. Crews worked for 20 minutes to extracate all of the entrapped.
